    Howell Family Pumpkin Farm

    Each fall, as well as selling giant pumpkins, this farm becomes a Howlin' Theme Park featuring a walk-through corn maze, wagon rides, a haunted barn and other family activities complete with Pumpkin Donuts, Strawberry Funnel Cakes, Pumpkins pies and more.     Kissing Rock

    Situated at the viewing area of Lock Seven on the Welland Canal, the famous Kissing Rock derives its name and history from the time sailors used the rock as the point at which to kiss their wives or girlfriends goodbye before going off to sea. A gift shop and cafe are on site and Lock Seven is coach friendly and wheelchair accessible.

    Welland Murals
    Since 1986 the city of Welland has commissioned artists to paint murals on the walls of local buildings. So far at least two dozen have been painted, some 25 metres high. They mostly depict the local history and culture.

    Welland Canal
    The Welland Canal is one of Ontario's most impressive man-made structures, circumnavigating Niagara Falls through a series of eight locks. The canal is vital to the economic viability of the Niagara region, with over 3,000 vessels passing through each year, and also offers recreational activities, as it links the many lakes and waterways in the area.

    Shrinking Mill

    The Shrinking Mill, in Port Colborne, is a mill that appears to grow smaller in size as visitors approach it. To experience this trick of light, land and water, one should take the Cement Plant Road south to Lakeshore Road and then turn to the east (left). Straight ahead to the end of Lakeshore Road is the mill but upon walking towards it, the mill seems to shrink further away.

    Minolta Tower Centre

    Thorold Murals
