Since 2005, the town of Thorold has been hosting the Italia In Festa festival to recognise and celebrate the town's Italian community. An Italian-style piazza is created for the two-day event which features music and dance, Italian cuisine, shopping booths and entertainment. A Little Miss Italia and Manga, Manga, Manga eating contest also feature. Free admission.
